Labels: Little Baby Nira's first steps; what a beautiful Alpaca

I am a full-time mum, wife and part time Alpaca herd manager. I love learning about new things and recently completed a BSc Hons as a mature student. On reaching the age of 40 my husband asked what I would like as a birthday present. I would like to be able say that I was bored of recieving diamonds but that would be an untruth as you know; diamonds are a girls best friend and incidentially I own very few! However, I opted for Alpacas and can say categorically that I do not regret the decision at all. They give me and my family so much pleasure they are just beautiful creatures. From small beginings of a herd of three we now stand at 30 and have decided that we are happy to stop with this figure. At the moment my husband and I are able to manage our herd between us and fit in all those other demands and we feel that if we expanded it would make mored demands on our time.
